On Saturday 17th July 2021, the Om Saravanabhava Seva Trust conducted its first ever 'Street Collection Project' to raise money for underprivileged families affected by the immense challenges posed by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic in India and Sri Lanka.
With coin buckets, leaflets, and banners, more than thirty volunteers from the Sharavana Baba Community Centre took to the streets of the London Borough of Westminster and raised more than £1,400.
We would like to thank all the volunteers for their immense dedication in making this project extremely successful. We are looking forward to conducting further 'Street Collection Projects' in the near future.
distribution of essential items for the homeless
As COVID-19 continues to affect many people in our local community, our beloved Sadhguru Sri Sharavana Baba has taken the sankalpa (pledge) to distribute 1,000 essential packages to individuals in desperate need of support.
Many of these individuals have no access to public funds. These packages, containing food and toiletries, have helped them maintain their personal hygiene as well as ensuring they have a nutritious diet during these challenging times.
Help us make a major difference. Your generous donations will be greatly appreciated.
"When we are in service of others all the time, God is with us in good and bad times."
- Sadhguru Sri Sharavana Baba
Babaji's walk for the NHS
£10,000 donated to the Royal Free Charity on the Auspicious day of Guru Poornima
On the auspicious day of Guru Poornima and the 72nd birthday of the UK National Health Service (05-07-2020), the Om Saravanabhava Seva Trust donated £10,000 to the Royal Free Charity. These funds were raised through our beloved Babaji's walk for the NHS, which took place on Sunday 28th June 2020. The cheque was presented to Carla Bispham, the Community Fundraiser for Barnet Hospital, Royal Free NHS Trust by our beloved Babaji.
This major donation will support children with cancer being treated at Barnet Hospital. We are all honoured and privileged to have Babaji with us in the UK in these difficult times and his continuous prayers for world peace and harmony has saved a lot of human suffering around the world.
We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who generously supported this great cause.

Under the guidance of our beloved Sadhguru Sri Sharavana Baba, volunteers from the Sharavana Baba Community Centre distributed numerous essential items, including dry foods and toiletries.
HAB Chief Executive, Joe Lee, expressed their sincere thanks to the Sharavana Baba Community Centre.
"Many of our clients have no recourse to public funds and others are on minimum benefits. Without help from the community we would not be able to provide them with the basic essentials of food and toiletries."
